Protest against the Iranian regime in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Samin Aayanifard and Natalia Khoshnnam, Michigan State University students, lead the protest in solidarity with people in Iran in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Oct. 8. More than 80 people joined the protest from Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Kalamazoo, and other surrounding areas.

Interview with DR. Matthew Pauly
Matthew Pauly, associate professor of history at Michigan State University, said that he plans to focus his course on history of Eastern Europe mostly around Ukraine next year. He said that in general the interest in Ukraine-related lectures and events has been tapering off. “People that are most invested are the people that were already invested to begin with,” Pauly said.
