hello! I am Audra Skuodaite, a journalist and multimedia storyteller.
Born and raised in a coastal city in Lithuania, I was further shaped by experiences of living in different places across the globe, including Amsterdam, Vilnius, Singapore, and now – Michigan.
I believe that storytelling has the power to bring communities closer together if done with due care in terms of inclusivity and diversity. In my own projects, I mainly focus on issues pertaining to human rights, intersectional feminism and sustainablity.
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism at Michigan State University as a Fulbright scholar. Previously, I interned at World Press Photo and worked on multimedia story productions with independent European journalist collectives including Are We Europe, Cafe Babel and NARA.
